I loaded the Ram up with gear & fuel and went onsite to help with communications for the Katrina event. It was invaluable, and the combination of range and the fact I had 150'ish gallons of biodiesel pretty much made me independent of the fuel issues impacting everyone else. The HF, VHF, and GPS setup was critical and very few vehicles in the area had similar capability at the time.
