Welcome to the order site for the Mil-Pack T-shirt! This is a volunteer effort, so please be patient!

While we did not want to go to the complexity & expense of a full e-commerce site, we did want to use some form of web form and automated response to reduce the work required and improve accuracy.

The initial run of 72 will be of a single T-shirt & logo color, with the focus being on a nice looking, professionally silk-screened shirt at a reasonable price. Once this run is complete, we will try to do another color combination. Follow-up orders can be done in lot's of 36 of the same print colors.

Ordering Steps:

• Read the FAQ below
• Determine the number and sizes of the shirts you need.
  • (International buyers: You will need to convert to US sizes!)
• Click on the link after the FAQ to start the order process
• Fill out the form, following the instructions listed
• You will need to multiply the number of shirts by the cost and enter the subtotal.
  • (International buyers: Use $14 per shirt for now. You will be contacted with the full amount once shipping is determined)
• Print a copy for your records prior to clicking the "Submit" button
• You will be directed to a confirmation page
• You will also receive a confirmation email indicating your order was received via email
• Once the order is entered, send check or money-order to the address listed on the order form
• Periodically the Order Status site will be updated with the current ETA of the overall T-shirt order process, as well as a list of individual order listed by the first four characters of your last & first name, along with the number of T's and whether we have received payment yet.

FAQ:

•  How were the colors determined? Based on our image & look we want, the Khaki shirt with Dark Green (Forest) and Black ink will work the best for an initial run. As we want all to be pleased with the shirt, we know this design will result in a striking and very wearable shirt. With a neat military tone without being so military that some will not care for it. The shirt color is called "sand" in Haynes speak.
  
  IE: This combination will look good with either camo pants or Birk sandals as long as it's accessorized with an appropriate milpack radio!
   
•  Will there be other colors offered later? An Olive or other darker color (Navy, etc) could be done as a second run. The Khaki ink would show OK, but the black would need to be substituted for a lighter color. As there is a somewhat limited palette available this would mean Yellow, Orange, light blue, 2-3 reds, etc.
  
  There were not many options available which had as military of a look as the lighter khaki shirt with dark Green & black ink. Once we get this run complete, I'll post ink palette and shirt color options and we can kick around different colors.
   
•  But I really want an Olive shirt! If we just had to have an Olive shirt down the road, one option is to outline the black letters & operator with white or khaki. This was OK on the lettering, but did not work on the operator. Bottom line: for our logo, we could not find ink combinations which worked as well as the khaki with green & black ink. We really need to defer to the printer's input on this.
   
•  How does the pricing work? Based on a run of 72 we'll be able to get a per shirt price of $14, tax included. I'm assuming $4 for flat rate Priority Mail shipping in the lower 48 US, International shipping will be charged actuals for whatever method is used.
  
  This cost assumes:
  • Haynes Beefy T, all cotton, top quality shirt. (6.1oz ring spun cotton, the best)
  • Entire run the same two ink colors
  • Any light colored Haynes Beefy-T can be mixed and matched in a run
  • This means cream (natural), pale grey (ash), etc could be requested instead Khaki during later runs. Some colors will look good, others not. :-)
  • The Stone washed green could be used with the Khaki/Black ink, but is getting a bit dark for the black to show well
  • If we do decide to mix & match colors for later runs, we'll probably limit it to 2 or 3 alternatives to keep ordering simpler.

  Runs of only 36 will $2 more per shirt, but are an option. So we can make additional runs with different ink colors, etc if we desire with no
  artwork fees. You pay a bit of a premium for a run under 72.
   

•  Can I get a pocket on my T? Based on the catalog availability, Pocket T's are available in only very basic colors for small runs. IE: Cream (Natural), light gray (Ash), White, Navy. Same for long sleeve T's. So for this initial run, the shirts will not have pockets.
   
•  Can I use paypal to pay for my order? Not yet, but we may try it for future orders. Since paypal charges a fee we'd need to pass that along.
   
•  Do we think we'll have enough interest? When last polled, we had 50-60 people indicating they will order. So it should not be a
  problem with critical mass.
   
•  When will the shirts be ordered? When we have enough checks in hand for 50 of the 72 minimum order, we'll deposit the checks and place the order. So it's really up to how fast folks get their payment in.
   
•  How long will it take to make our shirts? Should be 5-10 business day turnaround, plus a week or so to get 60-70
  orders packaged and out the door. I'll try to ship in the order I receive payment.
